Gary Saretzky, the principal speaker, lectured on Elias Goldensky, an important late ninteenth-century Philadelphia photographer.

  

     

Club president Carl Geisler along with the Dalet Art Gallery's Irena Gobernik and Leo Vayn, introduced an exclusive opportunity for PPC members to compete for inclusion in a PPC show at the Philadelphia Gallery. The exhibition will be juried by photographer Ricardo Barros.

Dave Ackerman showed images and told of PPC successes in the Glennie Nature competition. Sandy Shapiro won a merit award! Sandy's, Alan Kesselhaut's and Walt Varan's submission's are shown.

"Our Historic Landscape" reception opening date at the D & R Greenway will be May 30th, 2008 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Aside from our June 11th meeting, this event will close the Princeton Photography Club official 07/08 season. We hope you will all attend and help celebrate what for some will be their first photos on public display, and for others the closure of a huge effort to capture the current landscape of some historical sites.
