DF Connors – Biography
Studied filmmaking & photography at University of Notre Dame & UCLA; studied still photography
with Barbara Blondeau; studied photography in workshops with Richard Stevens, Howard Bond,
Michael Smith and Paula Chamlee; studied platinum/palladium printing with Robert Borsuk.
Taught filmmaking, aesthetics, documentary film and the Great Books Seminar at UND.
Own and operate a motion picture and video production company specializing in documentaries and
corporate communications for over 25 years. Productions have been screened on A&E and The History
Channel.
Winner of numerous motion picture and video industry awards for directing and camera work including
two Cine Golden Eagles; Gold, Silver & Bronze awards in NY International Film Festivals; Silver in the
Chicago International Film & Television Festival, US Industrial Film Festival Gold, Gold Addy Awards,
Gold Camera Award, etc.
Photograph commercially and personally in US, Europe, Africa.
Co-founder and currently teaching with Princeton Photographic & Digital Imaging Workshops
(ppdiw.org), specializing in digital shooting techniques and digital darkroom techniques, including
workshops overseas (UK, France, Italy.
