Igor Svibilsky is a B&W Magazine Single Image Contest 2012 winner. The Issue 88, February 2012 featuring the photographs of the contest winners is on sale starting December 2011.

Igor won two awards:    Gold Award in Travel Category: Riding Back in time, Petra, Jordan
                                          Merit Award in Seascape/Water Category: New Dawn, Yardville, PA

Barbara Warren is a B&W Magazine Single Image Contest 2012 winner. The Issue 88, February 2012 featuring the photographs of the contest winners is on sale starting December 2011. She won a Merit Award in Metaphor/Abstract Category. The image is named Untitled #10, Turkey 2011.

Julian Weitzenfeld has two images, “Sea Bird” and “Street with Lamp” on display at the Gloucester County Juried Photography Exhibition which runs to November 28.

 

Julian Weitzenfeld's photograph, “Eguishei”’ is at the New Hope Art League 2011 Juried Art Show at the
Prallsville Mill in Stockton. The show runs from November 16 to Nov 27.

 

The Mercer Country Photography 2011 Exhibit is currently running through December 19, 2011. Several PPC
photographers have their photographs on display. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Communications Building on the Mercer County Community College campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor. For more information call 609-586-4800 ext. 3589 or e-mail gallery@mccc.edu.

Bill Slack’s “Night Team Paving” and “Night Team Sewer Emergency” were accepted into the Mercer Country
Photography 2011 Exhibit.

 

Maia Reim has two images, “Pledge” and “Shadow Play,” accepted into the Mercer Country Photography show 2011.

     

Fred Everett’s black & white image “To the Sky”, is another PPC winner accepted into the Mercer Country Photography show.

 

Fred Everetts' photograph “A Lonely Dream” was accepted into the New Hope Art League 2011 Juried Art Show.

 


Daniel Goldberg’s “Stands” was accepted into the New Jersey Forum Exhibit.

 

Martha Weintraub is exhibiting at Gallery 1, the show is named 'About Books'. The show runs October 28 - November 20, 2011. Gallery 14 is located at 14 Mercer Street, Hopewell NJ.

 

Big 3 Photo Exhibit at Artway Gallery, Princeton Alliance Church. Featuring the best works of: Cranbury digital Camera Club, Princeton Photography Club and Raritan Photographic Society. Saturday, Oct 15 – Sunday, Dec 11, 2011. The three clubs submitted 30 images each. Judge: Rick Wright.

PPC member Leo Vayn, and Irena Gobernik, a wood and mixed media sculptor, are presenting their work
at the joint exhibition 'Go Live Your Own Life' at the Dalet Gallery. The Dalet Gallery is located at 141 N. 2nd street in Philadelphia. The exhibit is showing through November 26, 2011.

 

On October 14 BBC News printed the photograph, Scotland by Richard Trenner. The picture depicts a scene from the old golf course at St. Andrews in Scotland

 

Mark Harril Saunders will use this image by Richard Trenner as the author’s photograph on the novel MINISTERS OF FIRE.

Mounted in two galleries, the Sculpture Gallery in Hamilton Hall, 320 S. Broad St., and Gallery 224 in Anderson Hall, 333 S. Broad St., the exhibition will be on view from September 6 – October 13, 2011 with a public opening reception on Friday, September 9 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. A live performance of music and poetry will be presented during the opening at 6 pm at Gallery 224.

PHOTO presents Deconstructions: La Habana, an exposition of work by fine art photographer Charles Anselmo. Depicting an exploration of the strange dissonances of Havana’s urban landscape over a period of eleven years, his images are visually resonant with the decayed structure, cultural history and social context of Cuba’s capital city, referencing the way in which memory changes perception as we reconsider the past.

Igor Svibilsky received a Merit Award in 2011 B & W Magazine Portfolio Contest. The selected images from the winning portfolio "Those Days of Ocean" are published in a special issue 84 (August 2011), currently available in the stores. Some images from this portfolio were exhibited during a month of December 2010 - January 2011 at Dalet Gallery, Philadelphia.
